I chose the Ridiculous word for today's blog post.
It just popped out.
Remain in the present. Whatever it is you are doing at the time you are doing it, do it. Be there. Be really really there. Make it your practice. Then apply it to your writing.
"Ever since I was a little kid, I've thought that there was something noble and mysterious about writing, about the people who could do it well, who could create a world as if they were little gods or sorcerers. ...And you know what? I still do."--Anne Lamott, from her book, "Some Instructions on Writing and Life."
Until this time next time.
See you in print,
