Jennifer Lopez Cries For Her Art

"I took a trip down memory lane."--Jennifer Lopez

Dear Reader,

Writing takes tremendous courage.

On a daily basis, a writer faces the blank page, and fills it with words.

We dig deep.

in the process,

we spill a few tears.

Recently, Jennifer Lopez, appearing at The Mohegan Sun's 15th anniversary celebration, sang a song she wrote, "If You Had My Love." "A lot has changed since then."

Men, bearing striking resemblance to her past loves, among them, Diddy and Affleck, and recent husband, Marc Anthony, danced the stage.

Afterwards, Lopez broke down in tears, saying, "I took a trip down  memory lane."

The audience broke into applause, confirmation Lopez had struck her personal chord.

Writing Quote:

"There's love and then there's love."--Jennifer Lopez

Writing Tip:

Do not let rejection, celebrity of another writer, or famous author's unkind words deter you in your craft. The artist's journey is fraught with flying monkeys and shapeshifters. Instead, opt to rejoice in another writer's successes. Steady the course. Remain focused. Your day will come.

Now go write something.

I dare you.

Obviously, JLo's had better luck with money (like her current gig on the second dumbest show on TV and her ads for Fiat) than with people. It's easier to count with ones than ids...

Inquiring minds want to know, how long did the cupcakes last before they were devoured? Or was it a test in willpower, like a mind over cupcake kind of thing?
