Today is Tuesday. The sky was clear and the air crisp as a new dollar bill as I drove the Merritt Parkway to Westchester County to spend the day with my one year old grandson.
Yesterday I worked on chapter six. I'm pleased that I did get a little writing done. Though Tuesdays are not regular writing days, I do what I call writing practice. That's when I just free write. I simply pick a topic, set a timer for twenty minutes, and write. I find that writing practice helps to shake the sawdust out my brain and kindles the embers of my memory. It helps me get a little writing done and makes me look forward to my next writing appointment, which is tomorrow.
Thursday is complete chapter 6 and begin chapter 7.
